A little about Robyn:

Acting Physiotherapist Robyn Deverett is a licensed Physiotherapist, working as an Independent Practitioner through her business “PHYSIO with ROBYN”.

Finding a passion in fitness during her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Robyn has worked for over 12 years as a certified Group Fitness Instructor, ZUMBA Fitness Instructor and a Personal Trainer. Deciding to enhance her anatomical knowledge and skillset, Robyn obtained her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University (2014).

Robyn has worked as a Physiotherapist in private clinics, homecare, and in-patient and out-patient hospital settings throughout Ontario. She is a strong believer in working collaboratively with her colleagues and patients. Robyn has a background in acupuncture, athletic taping, and soft tissue active release; as well as extensive training in pelvic floor physiotherapy. Her practice consists of education, soft tissue work, and stretching/strengthening home exercise programs.

With her expansive background in pelvic floor health, Robyn is a huge advocate for pelvic health awareness. With a lifelong philosophy of laughter being the best medicine, Robyn is currently creating comedic educational content to reduce the stigma of pelvic floor dysfunction; and normalize having “awkward” conversations surrounding basic bodily functions. Robyn’s practice philosophy is to empower her patients, so they feel confident in making simple lifestyle changes to optimize their health. It is never too late to start moving and improving!
